Dr Anjé van der Merwe qualified at the University of Stellenbosch in 2008 as a medical practitioner. She obtained a diploma in Anaesthetics and a diploma in Conscious Sedation at the University of the Western Cape in 2012 and 2014, respectively. She spent time working in the Cardiology Department at Greys hospital in Pietermaritzburg and worked in primary health clinics in rural Edendale before starting private practice. Despite her medical career, she still felt that something was missing. Aesthetic medicine gave her the opportunity she was longing for to combine her scientific knowledge with her eye for aesthetic beauty and her ready hands.

Dr Anjé has been performing aesthetic treatments since 2013 and has attended numerous training courses around the Country in anti-wrinkle injections (Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin®), fillers, biostimulotors, skinboosters and threading. For more than a decade she has enhanced beauty and built confidence in her patients. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their aesthetic goals and she works closely with them to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance their unique features.
